Render Blade Beta2

Update Dec 29/03

New features

1) Background music (mp3 format).
2) Sound effects (wav format) at any frame.
3) Save the export settings for a rbd file, including the background music and sound effect settings.
4) You can use upto 90000 vertices.

*See "Beta1 feature" for more specifications.

Save & Load settings

You can save:
1) Settings involving how .lws are exported and in which order multi-scene files will play.
2) "Your Name" & "Your URL" encoded within the .rbd file.
3) background music settings
4) sound effect settings

Settings are saved in a .sed file in the same folder that has been chosen for .rbd export.
These settings are loaded automatically when you export a .rbd file again, but loading them may fail if you've changed the folder name or .sed file name.

* Next versions may handle the .sed file more freely.

Things to remind when setting sounds

1) You must put .mp3 or .wav files in the same folder with the .LWS before you export to .RBD.
2) You can't use .mp3's as a sound effect.
3) You can only use .wav files with 16bit/44KHz/mono properties.
4) *.mp3 and *.wav extensions must be typed in lower case. Don't use *.MP3 or *.WAV.

How to set the sounds

1) Put your files in the same folder with the .LWS.

2) Double-click Render Blade the icon and push the right mouse button in the opening screen to see the main menu. Then choose "Export File" and select the folder which holds the .LWS.

First, you must select the .lws from the list to the left and then click the ">>" button to confirm it's selection.
If you don't want to add any sound, please click the "Create" button to export the .RBD and finish the proces.

3) If you want to add background music, then click "Setting BGM".

*.mp3 and *.wav are listed to the left. Select the appropriate file and click the ">>" button.
If you don't want to add any sound effects, click the "Create" button to export the .RBD with background music.

4) If you want to add sound effects to your .RBD, click the "Setting BGM" to continue.

The sound effect files are found at the left. Please check the .LWS file name that is shown at the upper-right (You can change the .LWS if you want to use multi .LWS's after you registered).
To add sound effects, select the .wav file from the left and then click "Addion" button.

A dialog screen will appear.

Type the frame number where the sound effect must be played and then press the "Apply" button. Don't go beyond the last frame.
Repeat step 4 if neccessary and continue to set another sound effect.

All your sound effect settings are shown at the right. If something has gone wrong, please select the effect and hit the "Delete" button.
"Clear" makes them all disappear from this list.

When you are done with all the settings, please click the "Save" button to save all your settings for future use.

The "Load" button is for loading certain settings.

5) After you register Render Blade, you can create multi .LWS scenes and set the sound effects for each .LWS.

6) Don't set a sound effect at the last frame. It will not be played.

7) When you have completed the sound effect settings, press the "Create" button to export a .RBD file with background music and/or sound effects.

*See "Beta1 feature" for more specifications.

Have fun!
